What is constant velocity and why does it matter?
In this tutorial you will learn that both speed and direction must be constant if the velocity of an object is constant.
Summary
- vi with an arrow- the initial velocity vector
- mph- miles per hour
- The initial car velocity is 10 mph, pointing to the right
- The final car velocity vector is identical to vi, and so the velocity is constant

Notes
-
-
-
- Remember that all vectors have to have a length and a direction
- Sometimes the length of the vector is called magnitude
-
-
- A vector is an arrow, so for the arrow to stay constant it has to have the same length and has to point in the same direction
